Into the Woods is known for its playground-like layout, where electronic music and childlike fun go hand in hand. Don’t be fooled by the crazy stage designs, Into the Woods is a very serious festival that knows what’s up. The lineup is curated with care, as BASHKKA, Byron Yeates, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Midland, and SHE/HER bring out their best, besides many other popping acts.
Buckle up, hard techno fans. This one keeps you on the dancefloor until 6:00 AM, so you better be rested before entering the iconic grounds of H7 Warehouse. AnD is a vinyl purist and brings his industrial techno to RAPTUR besides techno trailblazer Cynthia Spiering, the 90’s tunes of Gabber Eleganza, JAËSS’ live set, and Radical Softness, who does quite the opposite of her name soundwise behind the decks.
‘A journey through darkness’; that sounds promising. Club Now&Wow presents a club night with a twist, where DJs like Cancel, Kuca van Oss, and Nikolina blast you off to space with their trippy and jet-black tunes. The Maassilo venue where the club is situated is the perfect industrial backdrop for this new club concept, where wandering the many hallways is just as much part of the experience as the music is.
DJ Daddy Trance finally returns to Amsterdam. Marlon Hoffstadt’s tracks are the most sought-after dancefloor fillers of this time, and his Club Heart Broken concept he runs with MALUGI now descends at Lofi. The two honchos invite DJs like evin b2b ferrari rot, Moody Mehran, Surf2Glory, and dangerous dreaming to spice things up this Saturday. Expect a fast-paced and fun day of lovingly raving.
Oof, KopjeK is not afraid to get sweaty. Paquita Gordon, Bennet, Kendal, Matisa: this is just the beginning of their packed lineup. The theme is techno, but De Graanfabriek also opens its doors to house, italo, and trance, as the day rave welcomes every visitor into electronic music. This is the first time Groningen’s KopjeK hosts its own summer festival, so be there and show them some love.
Ever since his legendary Boiler Room set, Mall Grab is one of those names you just need to see live. It’s more than evident the man has fun behind the decks, pulling you into his wormhole with hooks and turns, breaks and beats, one banger at a time. askmelater brings the harder breaks, and Alex Ranzino is an upcoming force to be reckoned with.
Imagine playing for ten hours straight. Prunk is up for the challenge, showing Thuishaven what he’s made of this weekend. The PIV Records label head brings his recognizable grooves to Amsterdam, ready to entertain you all day. You’re going to want to whip out Shazam for all those track IDs, as Prunk never misses the opportunity to throw in a little banger here and there.
